While we can’t be traveling right now thinking back I’ve come to realize May is one of my favourite times to travel. Here are some reasons why that is.
Hi, I'm Alouise. I'm from Edmonton, Canada, but I also spent time living in Ireland. My loves in no particular order are travel, theatre, musicals, writing, music, and walking in parks. I like to share these loves with you on this site.
More than that though right now I love staying at home, socially distancing as much as possible, washing my hands properly with soap for 20 seconds, not touching my face, and sneezing or coughing into a tissue. I'm trying to flatten the curve during this weird time, and make sure I don't get any vulnerable populations sick. And if I feel sick I like to call my local health care provider to find out what next steps I can take. I hope you like these things now too.

It’s the last post in my retrospective of my travels in the 2010s. Today I’m looking back a trip I took in 2019 to San Francisco, California.
